The Nielsen 117 metal picture frame, also known as the Arthaus profile, was inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the 1900s. This vivid collection combines its clean lines with extraordinary bright colors, a perfect complement to posters and decorative framing projects.

Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
This brushed satin metal picture frame puts a twist on the classic profile with several vivid colors, including Tornado Red, an eye-catching rich red; the sparkling Reflex Silver; Galactic Blue, a deep, lustrous indigo; Purple Haze, an intense Concord purple; Cyber Green, a bright chartreuse; and a cool Caribbean turquoise.
Each metal picture frame is anodized for additional durability, and features a deep 13/16 rabbet, enough to ensure the proper placement of the art, mat board, and backing board. Note that Frame Destination cuts all frames about 1/8" larger to ensure all framing materials fit inside the completed frame. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled.
