Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
Nielsen® Profile 100 Shadow Box is made of the highest quality aluminum metal moulding for picture frames. It's strong and durable with consistent matte finish. This frame has enough depth to be used as a shadow box for framing and displaying 3D objects. Because of the frame's design and build, the internal measurement for display is approximately 1/2" smaller than the frame size. Each shadow box frame includes corner hardware and spring clips to hold frame contents in place, plus euro hangers for attaching wire to frame. Our staff cuts each frame’s moulding approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure the glazing and backing will fit properly within the finished picture frame. Frame may be shipped unassembled.
