Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
This metal picture frame is available in numerous colors, including Matte Black, Bright White, German Silver, Frosted Silver, Silver, Frosted Gold, Frosted Walnut, Dusk, and Black. Except for the Bright White and Black, all the colors are anodized for additional durability. The color of Contrast Grey frames changes slightly from light grey to almost black, depending on the light. This frame features a deep 13/16 rabbet, enough to ensure the proper placement of the art, mat board, and backing board. Note that Frame Destination cuts all frames about 1/8" larger to make sure that all framing materials fit inside the completed frame. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled.
