Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
This frame moulding is offered in five colors that are anodized to provide additional durability. The Nielsen Profile 97 has a rabbet of 17/32 inches and a width of nearly an inch, drawing the viewer's eye to the artwork itself. Frame Destination cuts all frames approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure that all framing components fit properly inside the frame. With this moulding, you'll also receive corner hardware, spring clips and euro hangers. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled. Let us know if you have an assembly preference.
