Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
The Profile 215 frame moulding, which features a 1/2-inch rabbet, is available laminated in Brownish Copper, Red/Black, Antique Silver or Blue/Black. Our trained staff completely assembles and hand-finishes each of our wood frames with V-nails and glue. Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure all framing materials, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.
