Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
The Profile 500 wood picture frame comes in six stains: Honey Maple, Walnut, Burgundy, Grey, White Wash, and Cherry. Due to the nature of wood staining, the end color may vary slightly from frame to frame. Each wood frame is completely assembled with glue and V-nails to ensure your frame is strong and durable. All Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure that all framing components, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.
