Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes. The Profile 855 wood frame moulding, featuring a deep 5/8-inch rabbet, is available in hand-finished Matte Black. Our wood frames are assembled using V-nails and glue by our trained staff. All Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure that all framing materials, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.
