Acid-Free and Lignin-Free Mat Board Featuring Solid Color Throughout

Crescent 4-Ply RagMat® Museum mat boards are designed for conservation and preservation, are acid-free and made from 100% cotton. This solid-core mat board is 1/16" thick. They are the same color all way through so the bevel color is the same color as the surface. It comes in a variety of colors, including many neutral tones.

Crescent 4-Ply RagMat® Museum – RagMat Museum Solids, 1/16 inch thick, 100% cotton mat board. Acid-free and lignin-free, featuring one solid color throughout.

Additional color details:

  • 2253-White: a smooth neutral white
  • 1126-Sand Dollar: a slightly "watercolor" textured mat that is a slightly warmer white (leaning toward yellow tones)
  • 1112-Soft White: a smooth white, with a slightly creamy tone
  • 2259-Antique White: a smooth warmer white (leaning toward yellow tones); appears brighter in shade than Soft White

Although the Alpharag colors of Natural Black and Natural White are no longer available from Bainbridge, these Crescent colors of RagMat® Museum are the best available match to those colors:
